Watercolor Days (Brownstein/Battat)
Well I’ve been told there’s a longer road
Than just our eyes can see
Beyond that line there’s more to find
At least that’s what was told to me
So I set out towards the vanishing point
And I’m still on my way
Where I’ve been begins to blend
Like Watercolor Days
The canvas grows and time slows down
I’m home wherever my loves surrounds
As I push myself further
Down the endless road
I can see all the others
That have come here on their own
The landscape takes a new shape
A heavy world turns light
We lift each other up
And follow our farthest sight
The canvas grows and time slows down
I’m home wherever my loves surrounds
I’ve been told we can open our eyes
Just a little bit wider
Just a little bit more
Well I’ve been told we can open our eyes
Just a little bit wider
Just a little bit more
The canvas grows and time slows down
I’m home wherever my love surrounds
Appears on Watercolor Days
